Why be a Sponsor?

You may not realize it but our past sponsors and golfers have become a part of something very special. In just fifteen years, our charity event has generated over $250,000 which is donated to the Make-A-Wish Foundation of the Mid-Atlantic and helps children’s wishes come true. These are children from your community who face life-threatening illnesses and whose families endure countless hospital visits and overwhelming medical expenses. The thoughtfulness of our supporters provides lasting memories for families who cannot personally thank us enough for the help. We cannot thank our supporters enough for their help and we extend our sincerest appreciation. Our hope is that you will become a part of this special cause.

As many of you know, there is a substantial amount of work involved in organizing a golf tournament to benefit charity. Our Board does not mind the work because our objective is to reminisce about Chad, my brother who lost his life in a car accident, while we support his favorite charity, the Make-A-Wish Foundation of the Mid-Atlantic. In any case, we believe the real work is sponsors and golfers opening their heart, and their checkbooks, in support of our event.

With your help, we will grant wishes to other children and truly make wishes come true for some very special kids. Whether it is a trip to Disney World, to meet a favorite celebrity or simply to own a computer, each wish provides the child and family with a break from the painful routine of doctors and hospitals.

Your donation will get us that much closer to our goal. All sponsors will receive credit in our tournament program and listings in pre- and post event press releases. Details on sponsorship opportunities can be found above. We are happy to work with organizations on a unique sponsorship package outside of the ones listed. We are also looking for donations and merchandise that we can use as “goodie” bag items, prizes and giveaways for our raffle and silent auction.
